Falling down from the motorcycle is the most frightening
incident I ever had. It was the first time I got an accident, and I was
just fourteen at that time. The accident was begun when I started learning how
to ride a manual motorcycle at a spacious green field in my parents’ birthplace
village, Tasik Malaya, with my brother and sister. They were success at the
training. When it was my turn to ride, I felt so nervous because my legs had
not got to the ground yet. Then I rode it very careful until I lost control and
crashed two wooden barriers of the field that separated the field and a dry valley.
My motorcycle was stuck on the two wooden barriers; I fell and bounced to the side
of the valley. I could hardly breathe. I was not much bleeding, but I felt pain
throughout my body. I had thought in my mind “Was I going to die?” Fortunately,
the motorcycle did not fall on me. I could not imagine if it had happened to me.
I probably died. Therefore, I do really grateful to Allah for every blessing
and affection he gave to me; because of his protection, I still can breathe and
live on this magnificent world. That time was the most terrible and frightening
day for me; as a result, I have a bit traumatic about riding a manual
motorcycle.
